Privacy Policy

What is Quickwise?

Quickwise is a WhatsApp-based AI study assistant. You send a PDF or photo of your notes, and the bot generates study notes, flashcards, and quizzes. It also reviews resumes and makes them ATS-friendly.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data. We do not use your data for advertising. Period.

What Data We Store

We store only the minimum required to make the bot work:

  • Your WhatsApp phone number — to send you replies
  • Your daily file usage count — to enforce free/pro limits (resets every 24 hours)
  • Your language preference — if you set one (e.g. Hindi, Kannada)
  • Your Pro plan status — if you have upgraded to Pro
  • Text extracted from your last document — kept for 24 hours only for follow-up questions, then deleted automatically

All data is stored in Cloudflare KV — a secure cloud storage system based in the USA. We do not run our own servers.

What We Do NOT Store

  • We do NOT store your original PDF or image files
  • We do NOT store your payment or card details
  • We do NOT store your WhatsApp messages permanently
  • We do NOT track your location
  • We do NOT build profiles or sell data to anyone

AI Services Used

To generate study content, your document text is processed by these AI services:

  • Google Gemini AI — reads your PDF or image and extracts text from it
  • Groq AI (LLaMA model) — generates study notes, flashcards, and quizzes

Only the text content of your document is processed — never your phone number or personal details. These services do not store your data permanently.

WhatsApp and Meta

Quickwise uses the Meta WhatsApp Business API to send and receive messages. Meta processes message metadata as part of operating WhatsApp. Please refer to Meta's Privacy Policy for details on how WhatsApp handles your data.

Payments

Pro plan payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details. Razorpay notifies us when a payment is successful so we can activate your Pro plan automatically.

How Long We Keep Data

  • Extracted document text — deleted after 24 hours automatically
  • Daily usage count — deleted after 24 hours automatically
  • Pro plan status — kept for 30 days (your subscription period)
  • Language preference — kept until you stop using the service
  • Phone number — kept as long as you actively use the service

Your Choices

You can stop using Quickwise at any time by simply not messaging the bot. No account deletion needed since we store very minimal data.

To request removal of your phone number from our system, email us at the address below and we will delete it within 7 days.

Age Policy

Quickwise is for students and working professionals aged 13 and above. By using this service, you confirm you meet this age requirement.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The latest version will always be at this URL. Continued use of Quickwise means you accept any updated policy.
